Setting.

:
Sunday morning in the house of Janelle and Justo .This is
the house where in Janelle and her father which is Justo
are living. The first scene of the short clip movie happened
here.

(FLASHBACK) One day, in the church of Padre Pio,

Janelle and Justo got there because her father is going
to work as a massage therapist.

(FLASHBACK) Walking along the road, they saw a store

where in there is a simple and elegant dress that fits to
Janelle and she really wants it.

Characters:
Janelle – the girl in the story who is so pretty and loving; she is the
daughter of the blind man who named Justo.

Justo – father of Janelle; he is blind but a very

loving and caring father for her daughter and he works as a massage
therapist.

Aling Ester – the lady who helped Justo

Mang Johnny – the old man who helped Justo and

also gave him some money

Nun – the sister in the church who also help Justo

when he is begging for some money.

Jun and Joey – two men who accidentally hit Justo .

Plot
Exposition:
One day morning, there was a phone alarming in the bedroom and then suddenly a girl
named Janelle woke up because the phone vibrates and sounds so loud. After that she saw
a text message from her boyfriend saying that, “Good morning Baby! See you later” and
then it looks like she is blushing because of her joyful face that is full of happiness when she
replied on the text message. Suddenly, Janelle goes down stairs to greet her father a good
morning and asked her father if he is okay. Justo is eating breakfast when her daughter
saw him like pandesal and coffee. Justo told her daughter to prepare and eat a breakfast
because he told her when Janelle is still young child that to eat on time. But his daughter
replied to him that she will prepare and go upstairs to look for some clothes that she will
use to their date with her boyfriend.

Rising Action:
A few minutes later, Janelle took a bath and prepared for the meet up of she and her
boyfriend. While preparing, she used to open her cabinet and choose what to wear then she
suddenly saw an simple but quite elegant beautiful looking dress. She was surprised and
she did not expect that it will be bought by her father. When she get the dress out of the
cabinet, she touched it and felt something special that she can’t explain, maybe she felt the
unconditional love of her father. Janelle remembered something. She used to think of the
memories of the dress that she saw in the store along the way. (FLASHBACK) One day
morning, Janelle and Justo went outside then while walking along the way, Janelle saw a
dress in a little store and she told her father about what she saw as she tries to describe how
simple and beautiful is that dress. She told her father that if she will use to wear it on the
date which her boyfriend will introduce her to the family she will looks like Jennylyn
Mercado who is a famous and one of the most known artist in the Philippines. Justo asked
her daughter if she want that dress and her daughter replied shyly with a yes and Justo
promised to her that he will find ways just to buy and give what her daughter really wants.
After stopping in the store, they just got into church which is nearby the little store. Justo
come with Janelle in the church which guides him just to arrive in his work. Justo got into
work while her daughter go back again into their house. Janelle told the lady who
accompanied Justo that to take care of her father. Justo works as a blind massage
therapist, every massage with the blind men cost one – hundred fifty pesos. Justo asked the
blind who seated after him if he can borrow some money for him to be able to buy the dress
but the blind man replied that he doesn’t have enough money because he also needs it for
necessary things that he will use to spend for it. Justo think of how to earn money and
asking for help to other people and beg for some money.
Climax:
(FLASHBACK) As he walked out of his work, he knew a plan that will help him to buy the
dress. Justo went along the way and pretend as a beggar. He started to asked for help along
the road that he passes by. She was seen by the lady named Aling Ester and he was given
some money from the lady. While walking around, he was helped by an old man named
Mang Johnny and he was also given some money, it was a nice way to start getting to know
each other because the old man said that he is the god father of Janelle and he was the best
friend of Justo. An old man was shocked because of what happened to life of Justo. Mang
Johnny told to Justo that if he needs help just call him or go to the address that was given
by old man. Going back to the church, a nun saw him outside the church in the front side
of the gate and he asked for a help. In good way, he was helped by the nun and talked to
him. The nun invited her to go inside and tell what does problem that he has. He said to the
nun that he needs a money to spend to the dress because he just wanted her daughter to
become happy as he will give that as a gift and surprise that her daughter didn’t know.
Justo is very thankful for what he had received that the nun gave from him. It looks that he
is very happy and crying in tears of joy because now he will be able to buy the dress in the
little store that her daughter saw.

Falling Action:
(FLASHBACK) While going home, he was accidentally hit and bumped by the two men
who look like a drug addict. The two men are known in the place because of being
arrogant. The men named Jun and Joey are siblings. Justo suddenly fell into the ground
and lost the money that he beg from the people who helped him. He had a hard time on
finding it because of his condition but he didn’t give up to look for it just to buy the dress.
He was luckily to buy the dress, he go with Aling Ester just to serve as his guide. He was
able to buy the dress and the smile on his face was unexplainable because he was on tears
on buying it and he didn’t expect that he will have that dress that he will give to her
daughter. When he already bought it, he went home and it’s the right time to surprise
Janelle because she’s not in the house, Justo went to his daughter’s bedroom and look for
the cabinet and hang it inside. Few moments later, Justo fell asleep in the living room and
Janelle arrived in the middle of the night from school and friend’s house. Janelle saw her
father in the living room and gave some blanket to him because the weather is cold.
Janelle’s tears fall into his father because she realized how her father sacrifices his life just
to give what Janelle needed in life and all of her wants. She was amazed by her father
because of the things that was done by Justo to her, the promises of her father to her which
always being fulfilled. After that, she went upstairs, into her bedroom to get ready for her
plan tomorrow with her boyfriend. Before sleeping, Janelle told herself to prepare for
tomorrow’s date because she will be meeting the parents of her boyfriend.
Resolution:
Going back to the present time, in her bedroom, Janelle is crying because of what she felt
while holding the mint green colored dress. When she used to fit that dress, her tears
started to flow and fall in her face while crying, she close the cabinet and looks on the
mirror if it is beautiful to her. Then suddenly she saw her father crying because of
happiness. Justo has a very big smile in his face and in tears of joy. Janelle hugged her
father and thanked him for what he gave on her. Janelle prepared for their date with his
boyfriend and his family. As she wears the elegant dress, it looks so beautiful and it is so
exact to her the fittings, the color, and the simplicity. Janelle told her father to take a bath
because she will come with him going to their date with the boyfriend. Finally, the meet up
happened and the two partners happily introduce their relationship to their both family.
Janelle’s boyfriend and his family, was amazed on the sacrifices that Justo gave to her
daughter just to live their life. The family of Janelle’s boyfriend told Justo that if he needs
help he was only on the side of them. They are ready to help Justo in case of necessary
needs. The two partners are both happy and spread the love to their parents.

 No love is greater than that of a father for his daughter
2. Sacrifice
 Sacrifice everything just to give daughter’s wants or needs.
 Father is the one who sacrifices everything for the happiness of his child
