My name is Sam Smith. I was not involved ___the murder of Jason Chan. Below is a detailed description of my alibi,

had already returned to my desk to answer emails. ___ 3pm we had a staff meeting _____ 4:00pm, and ___ 4:10pm
I was back __ my desk for a telephone meeting. ___ 6:00pm I was finished my work and ____ 6:30 I left work.

_____ work I went to the market down the street to buy food for dinner. I bought vegetables and rice and took the
bus home ____ 7:15pm. ___ 8pm I cooked my dinner. _____ dinner I watched my favourite television show. It was
______ 9pm and 10pm. ____ going to bed, I showered and brushed my teeth. I read a book _____ 11:00pm, and
____ 11:15pm I was asleep. So you see, I could not have committed the murder, because ________ 7pm and 8pm I
was shopping for food, and ___ my way home. This alibi proves my innocence. Thank you.
