Road & Traffic Environments

 Road Corridor 1: between Kranti Chowk and Paithan Gate Chowk
 Road Corridor 2: between Paithan Gate Chowk and City Chowk Police Chowk
 Road Corridor 3: between City Chowk Police Chowk and Bhadkal Gate Chowk

Describe and analyze any one of the above road corridors from the perspective of road users, traffic flow
and demand for parking facilities. You can write you report in any way that you want, but you need to
cover following:

1. Where is subject road corridor?

2. Type and nature of economic activities that take pace along the subject corridor.
3. Is subject road corridor a good section or a bad section?
4. What criteria are you using to judge it?
5. How do you think this place attained its good or bad qualities?
6. What would you want to do to change it?

Format and Expectations:

 Do the assignment individually or in group and you can discuss and debate topic with others in
the class. BUT individual and unique submission must be made by each student.
 Each must submit their assignment separately. Your response should be no more than 1200
words, single spaced, 12 points Arial or Times (New) Roman. Although illustrations may be in
addition to this text. Please use photos, illustrations or graphics but limit these to maximum of
10 to make your points.
 Base the evidence for what you write or illustrate on your own observations and reactions, not
on those of others.
 We will have presentation (10 min) and discussions (10 min) on your submission in class on
February 18.
