First of all ,lets find out what ecology is?

Ecology is the study of how organisms

interact with one another and with their physical environment. For thousands of years
people lived in harmony with environment and it seemed to them that natural riches
were unlimited. But with the development of civilization man's interference in nature
began to increase. Large cities with thousands of smoky industrial enterprises appear
all over the world today. The by-products of their activity pollute the air we breathe,
the water we drink, the land we grow grain and vegetables on.So because of this
factors we can find a lot of problems which are make bad ifluence on our Earth and
for each person separetly .Thus society are worried and try to find methods how to
protect and save our Planet.
Firstly ,I want to mention such ecological problem as global warming.It is one of the
main issue which we should solve.Global warming is not a prediction. It is happening
right now. It is a current increase in temperature of the Earth `s atmosphere, water,
and surface. Human activities produce greenhouse gases that accumulate in the
atmosphere and cause problems our planet faces today. Global warming can do more
than just melt polar ice and change weather patterns throughout the world.It can
change our maps, displace people from tropical islands and cities, and cause
famine.Another problem is deforestation Deforestation is the process of clearing trees
and forest for other uses. Deforestation usually occurs due to city expansion. As
habitats increase in cities, there is a need to create more space the for homes,
organizations, and factories. This, however, has a damning effect on our
environment.Deforestation means fewer trees and more land. This has a serious
adverse effect on our environment. On one hand, deforestation makes some animals
homeless. Animals that survive in the forest might go extinct with less forest. On the
other hand, deforestation is also the biggest cause of climate change around the
world.Environmental pollution occurs when pollutants contaminate the natural
surroundings. Pollution disturbs the balance of our ecosystems, affect our normal
lifestyles and gives rise to human illnesses and global warming. Pollution has reached
its peak due to the development and modernization in our lives. With the development
of science and technology, there has been a huge growth of human potentials. People
have become prisoners of their own creations.We waste the bounties of our nature
without a thought that our actions cause serious problems.There are water ,air and soil
pollution.The effects of air pollution are alarming. It causes global warming, acid
rains, respiratory and heart problems.A lot of wildlife species are forced to change
their habitat in order to survive.Soil pollution .This type of contamination influence
health of humans, affects the growth of plants, decreases soil fertility, and changes the
soil structure. Water pollution is able to lead our world on a path of destruction. Water
is one of the greatest natural resources of the whole humanity. Nothing will be able to
live without water.
The key causes of the water pollution are: industrial waste, mining activities,
sewage,etc.The environmental impact of the energy industry is diverse.

In Belarus we also can find some problems with ecology .The main one is the
problem of radioactive contamination the main reason is the Cernobyl
Accident ,because out country was in the affected area.It had an impact on all spheres
of human activity.Many people became ill and part of territory ceased to be suitable
for human activities.Also we have many manafactures in our conutry which become
the reason of water , air and soli pollution.
There are a lot of ways how every person can make enviromental situation better .For
example ,I taking shower instead of bath so it reduce my water consumption ,also I
am trying to switch off all light if I don’t need it and only this easy methods can
improve enviromental situation

Nowadays many environmental organizations were opened and the main aim of
which is protect our environment.There we can find such companies as World Wildlife
Fund ,EarthFirst!,Greenpeace etc. All of them trying to find way how to save nature
such as alternative types of energy ,Solar power is the conversion
of sunlight into electricity, either directly using photovoltaics (PV), or indirectly
using concentrated solar power Wind power is the use of air flow through wind
turbines to mechanically power generators for electricity. Etc.

To sum up the environmental problem is a very acute problem for the whole society,
but every year people come up with more and more technological methods of struggle.
In my opinion, all the ways to solve the problems described above may well make a
difference.
