Rule 7.

02 - A lawyer shall not support the application for admission to the bar of any person known by
him to be unqualified in respect to character, education, or other relevant attribute.

Public policy requires that the practice of law be admitted to those individuals found duly qualified in
education and character (Agpalo,supra at 113).

A Lawyer should not readily execute an affidavit of good moral character in favor of an applicant who
has not live up to the standard set by law.

A lawyer should aid in guarding the Bar against admission to the profession of candidates unfit or
unqualified for being deficient in either moral character or education (CPR).

A lawyer should volunteer information or cooperate in any investigation concerning alleged anomaly in
the bar examination so that those candidates who failed therein can be ferreted out and those lawyers
responsible therefor can be disbarred.
