AGREEMENT

An agreement is being signed between Qatar and Saudi Arabia mediated by UK and Sweden.

On 5th June 2017, Saudi Arabia, Bahrain, Egypt, and UAE had accused Qatar of having ties
with terrorist groups, and restricted trade with Qatar, boycotting all goods from it. This also
included ban of usage trade routes and airspace. To resume trade with Qatar, Saudi Arabia
placed and agreements based on 13 demands, which included removal of Turkey troops from
the military bases in Qatar, and also included banning trade with Iran. Initially, these demands
were denied by Qatar. In this agreement, Qatar would like to re-negotiate with Saudi regarding
the trade barriers imposed by it against Qatar.

Solutions

1. Saudi Arabia and Qatar would like to re-establish trade relations with each other by re-
negotiating embargos which were imposed on 5 June 2017 against each other.

2. We would also sign bilateral agreements regarding trade between Saudi and Qatar. Saudi
Arabia would also like to reopen airspace land for trade, and sea for Qatar. Saudi will provide
Qatar with food requirements and pharmaceuticals, and in return Qatar would trade with
machinery and steel necessities.

3. Saudi and Qatar would also like to engage in free trade with each other. Saudi and Qatar
would also re-negotiate on the 13 demands placed by Saudi regarding bilateral trade with Iran
and turkey.
