Qualifications

Hitesh Sablok received his Bachelor of Law (Honours) degree in 2008 from Vivekananda Institute of
Professional Studies, affiliated to Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University, Delhi, India and was admitted
to the Bar Council of Delhi in September 2008.

Hitesh completed his Berkeley Executive Program in Management (batch of 2018-19) and also received a
Certificate of Business Excellence from Haas School of Business, University of California, Berkeley, United
States of America in November 2019.

Professional Experience

Hitesh Sablok is a corporate commercial lawyer with around 12 years of experience and have worked
across both, law firm and in-house roles. Hitesh has consistently delivered effective results in numerous
challenging, sensitive and critical assignments and has helped organizations successfully and ethically
manage complex environments.

In his current role, Hitesh is a member of the international legal team at First Solar, which is one of the
world’s leading global provider of comprehensive photovoltaic solar systems. His role primarily revolves
around (i) advising and leading a variety of commercial transactions, including securities purchase
agreements, module supply agreements, financing agreements (both on-shore and off-shore), EPC
contracts, O&M agreements, NDAs, to name a few; (ii) assessment of known and anticipated risks and
strategizing and implementing steps to respond/ mitigate such risks; and (iii) counseling on general
corporate and commercial laws and other allied matters.

Apart from the India region, where Hitesh manages both internal and external stakeholders, he also works
with the business teams in Europe and US.

Hitesh achieved special recognition for his contribution to the India Region, and received a Certificate of
Appreciation from First Solar’s Executive Leadership Team.

Prior to joining First Solar, Hitesh founded PackandShift, a relocation service curator providing access to
reliable and hassle free services at cost effective pricing. He established and set-up the business from
scratch and single handedly designed, strategized and managed the various aspects such as compliance,
strategy, business development, marketing, partner onboarding, vendor onboarding, infrastructure
readiness and rollout, client servicing, monitoring and tracking performance, etc.

In the past, Hitesh has worked with leading Indian law firms like Vaish Associates Advocates and
Amarchand & Mangaldas & Suresh A. Shroff & Co. and has advised various clients on transactions and
issues pertaining to investments, M&A, restructuring of business, asset and share purchase deals,
exchange control regulations, corporate commercial laws, etc. He also has a wide range of experience
across sectors in cross-border business transactions, joint ventures, strategic alliances and business
divorces.
