Perceptions of Grade 10 Students on the Role of Facebook in their Studies

STATEMENT OF THE PROBLEM

The main problem of this study is to identify the perceptions of Grade 10 students on the role of
Facebook in their studies.

Specifically, it seeks to answer the following queries:

1. What is the socio-demographic profile of the participants of this study in terms of:
1.1. Age?
1.2. Gender?
2. What is the number of Grade 10 students that uses Facebook for their studies?
3. What aid does Facebook give to Grade 10 students in terms of:
3.1. Written Works (WW), particularly:
3.1.1. Assignments?
3.1.2. Projects?
3.1.3. Seat works?
3.1.4. Quizzes?
3.2. Performance Outputs (PO), particularly:
3.2.1. Reporting?
3.2.2. Recitations?
3.2.3. Group Presentations?
4. What are the perceptions of Grade 10 students on the role of Facebook in their studies?

This figure represents the relationship of the variables that will be involved in conducting this
study and is parceled into three parts, namely: the input, process, and output framework.

Input Framework seeks Grade 10 students of Biñan Secondary School of Applied Academics
having an active Facebook account which will be the respondents for this study. They will be the ones to
determine the proportional relationship of Facebook and studies of Grade 10 students.

Furthermore, in order for the researchers to provide the intended objective of the input paradigm,
the process framework will be conducted right after. The study at hand will be investigated through the use
of a research tool with close-ended questionnaires to be distributed to the target participants which is the
Grade 10 students which will be collected, tabulated, and analyzed until the Researchers finally interpret
the collected data.

Therefore, accomplishing the input and process framework provides us the output framework of
this study, hence the perceptions of Grade 10 students on the role of Facebook in their studies.
