Globalisation

Globalisation is a word wide known phenomenon. It’s a really important topics and everyone has
opinion about it. It’s hard to be only one side because it has good and bad effects as well. It can
broaden access to goods and services, they are more available, the prices are lower and the market is
bigger. You can choose from a wider scale of products. It also can lift people out poverty because it
increases job opportunities. Globalisation also increase cultural awareness you can understand more
easily different cultures, and it boost to exposed to the culture and attitude. It also inspire artists, and
strengthen between nations. Information and technology spreads more easily. It encourages free
trade and eliminates currency manipulation. These are really good arguments but I think I rather
against globalisation. Workers in develop countries may lose their jobs because big companies can
get their workforce from undeveloped countries. It also fails to deliver the desired gains e.g. labor
rights, human rights, and environmental protection, and also can increase taxes. It gives a culturel
homogeneity which means countries slowly starts to lose their own traditions, languages etc. The
power focus in the hand of multinational companies , and reduce states sovereignty. It can ruins
small companies because they cant compete with the variety of products and the low prices, so
locals have to close their shops, and that way they lose their job. The
