Easter Cantata Rehearsals
Rehearsals for the Easter Cantata
“The Passion and the Promise”
began on Thursday, Feb. 27, at
7:10pm. (Regular Majesty Choir
rehearsals will move to 6:30pm). It’s
still not too late to join the choir for this
great adventure!

Cleanliness may not actually be next
to godliness, but it certainly helps a
person feel more human. When
families find their homes destroyed, or
must flee for their safety, soap and a
towel rarely make the cut for what
they can carry. Arriving in a refugee
camp or other place of safety, they are
scared, vulnerable and dirty from the
travel. The simple items included in a
Personal Care Kit provide much-
needed self-care, critical germ
fighting, and the chance to regain
dignity amidst situations of fear and
uncertainty
Items to include in your kit:
(Please include only new items)
1 - lightweight bath towel
(dark color)
2-3 - bath size bars of soap (in orig.
wrapper)
1 – adult toothbrush (orig, pkg)
1 – comb (remove from pkg)
1 – metal nail clippers (remove
from pkg)
To pack: Fold the towel in half. Place all
items in the towel, fold and roll so
nothing falls out and secure with yarn,
string, or rubber bands.
We will be starting our First Communion Classes
on Sunday, March 22nd at 10 am in the Library.
If you believe your child is ready to receive
communion, we invite you to have them take
part in the two classes. The second class will be
at the same time and location on March 29th.
Students will be receiving First Communion
during our Maundy Thursday service on April
9th. Please give the office a call if you are going
to be having your child take the classes.

WEDNESDAYS IN LENT –
BREAD FOR THE JOURNEY
Join us Wednesday nights for our Lenten
journey as we use our senses of sight, touch,
smell and taste! Each Wednesday evening
starting with Ash Wednesday and continuing
through Lent, we will be experiencing the tastes
and smells of homemade bread and how they
relate to the Lenten story.

Join us Sunday, March 15th after the late
worship as families of all ages bake bread and
have some “Lenten fun” with Play Doh!
