Statement of the Problem

The main objective of this study is to establish if there is a significant relationship between

Facebook use and self-concept among students.

Specifically, this study aims to answer the following questions.

1. What is the profile of the respondents in terms of

a. Age;

b. Sex and

c. Strand?

2. What is the extent of Facebook use of the respondents in terms of

a. Length of Use;

b. Frequency

c. Quantity of Posts and

d. Type of activities engaged in?

3. What is the level of self-concept of the respondents in terms of

a. Self- image;

b. Self-Esteem and

c. Ideal Self?

4. Is there a significant relationship between the extent of Facebook use and the level of self-

concept of the respondents?
