One thermocouple shall be employed for controling the heat treatment parameters and the other shall be used for monitoring and ecordng the heat estrent cyl vi clearly defined and uniquely dented chact. 1 Thermocouples shall be placed equally around the circumference of the pipe lorcomponent. As ® minimum, the thermacouple shall be atthe 3 oleck and 9 o'clock positions.
