Key Exam Day Policies:

You must check in and be seated by the time the doors close at 7:45am. Any candidate who arrives
after 7:45am will not be allowed entry. Please arrive at the exam site at least one hour before the
scheduled start time.
You must bring a PRINTED 2017 ADMISSION TICKET. No digital admission tickets via a smartphone will
be allowed.
You must bring an original (not a photocopy) unexpired passport or driver's license with a photo as
identification for entry. Your name as printed above must EXACTLY match the name on the identification
you present for entry. Driver's licenses will only be accepted in the country of issue.
Use of an unauthorized calculator at any time during the exam will result in your exam not being graded.
The Exams(s) are administered via paper and pencil only. Do not bring writing instruments. GARP will
provide you with two (2) pencils.
All cellular devices, if in the exam room, must be turned completely off (not airplane mode) and placed
facedown under your seat. If the cellular device rings during the timed portion of the exam, your exam will
not be graded and you will be asked to leave the exam center.
Use of watches (including smart watches and Fitbits), digital technology, cufflinks, pens, or erasers will
result in your exam not being graded.
All examination materials - the admission ticket, exam booklet, and answer sheet - are the sole property
of GARP and will be collected during and after the exam.
You will only be allowed to sit for the exam listed on your admission ticket.

Candidates are required to adhere to all published exam policies and all instructions announced on exam day.
GARP Exam Incidents may result in your exam not being graded. Neither GARP nor any individual testing facility
shall be held responsible for stolen, lost, or otherwise damaged property.

This will be considered a GARP Exam Incident, and can result in your exam not being graded.
