design of a musical piece.

MUSICAL FORM – is the design.

UNITARY FORM – is a composition with just one section.

BINARY FORM - is a composition with two sections.

TERNARY FORM - is a composition with three sections.

BASIC PARTS OF MUSICAL COMPOSITION:

VOCAL TIMBRE – is the different types of voices

TYPES OF VOCAL REGISTERS:


1. Soprano – higher female register
2. Alto - lower female register
3. Tenor - higher male register
4. Bass - lower male register

VOCAL ENSEMBLE – is group of voices when the different vocal registers combine, form a group, and start singing
altogether.

TYPES OF VOCAL ENSEMBLE:


1. Duet – two voices singing together
2. Trio – three voices singing together
3. Quarter – four voices singing together
4. Choir – group of singers singing liturgical songs

1. FLUORIDE TOOTHPASTE – protects the teeth and gums. It also prevents gum bleeding.
2. ANTI-DANDRUFF SHAMPOO – treats and prevents the dandruff in the scalp.
3. BETADINE SOLUTION – disinfects wounds or skin infection. It also prevents the spread of infection.
4. ANTI-ALLERGY CREAM – cures allergy.

NONMEDICINES

1. REGULAR TOOTHPASTE – is used for cleaning the teeth.

2. REGULAR SHAMPOO – is used fro cleaning the hair.

3. HAND-WASHING SOAP – is used to clean the hands.

4. MOISTURIZING CREAM – moisturizes the skin.


MEDICINE – is a drug or a substance that can prevent a disease or the symptoms of that disease. It also makes a sick
person feel better.

TYPES OF MEDICINES

1. OVER-THE-COUNTER MEDICINES / NONPRESCRIPTIVE MEDICINES – can be easily bought from the drug stores
even without the doctor’s order or prescription.

2. PRESCRIPTION MEDICINES – prescribed by a doctor for one-time use by only one person.

DRUG FACTS LABEL – is the information that accompanies the medicine that you buy. You may find this on the box
which contains the medicine, or the label of the bottle itself.

IMPORTANT FACTS IN DRUG FACTS LABEL:

1. The active ingredients – refer to the ingredients or the formulation contained in the medicine. It also tells what the
medicine can do.

2. Directions for proper use – tells how much medicine must be taken at one time, how often it can be administered,
and for how long a patient can take the medicine.

3. Warning about its use or possible side effects – tells when you should not use the medicine at all, how the
medicine will make you feel, when you should stop using the medicine, or things you should not do.

4. Other additional information about the drug – includes what you should do when using the medicine and how are
you going to store it.
