Resolution No. 33 (33-10) Dated: 20/21.07.2019 83 The Executive Council approved the following recommendations made by the Academic Council at its meeting held on 15/16.07.2019. The Council further resolved that the consequential amendments to the relevant Ordinance of the University be made accordingly: 33:10/ Resolved that proposed Modifications in the Ordinance IX (8) regarding Post-Graduate Courses (M.A/ M.Sc./ M.Com.) governed under the scheme of Examinations of the Choice Based Credit System (CBCS) recommended by the Committee under Co- Chairperson Prof. Kavita Sharma constituted vide University Notification No. Acad.l/Admissions/2018/456 dated 22 February, 2018 be accepted. Such a student shall be categorized on the basis ofthe combined result of Semester | to semester IV exarations as follows: (Based onthe Conversion Formula from CGPA to final Percentage) 60% oF more Firs Division 50% or more butlessthan 60% Second Division Less than 50% & declared passed Third Division (b) The formula for calculating the final percentage of marks from Cumulative Grade Point Average (CPA) for final year students under CBCS wil be as follows: Final Percentage of marks = CGPA based on overall four semesters x 9.5 Provided thatthe programmes regulated by diferent regulatory bodies like Medteal Council of india, AICTE etc. willbe governed by the regulations prescribed by their respective regulatory bodes from time to time, 8 (4) Issue of Transeripts: Based on the grades earned, a Grade Certificate shall be issued to all the registered students by the University after every semester and a consolidated transerit indicating the performance in all semesters. The Grade Cerificate will display the course details (code, title of the paper, numberof credits, grade secured) along with SPA of each semester and CGPA earned based on overall six semesters, ‘The percentage shall not be displayed on the Grade Certifiate/Transcrpt. Only the formula approved for the conversion of CGPA into percentage willbe displayed on the Grade Certificate/Transeript Note: The examination scheme fo alll. 8.A, LB and LL.M, coursesunder the CBCS shal be declared later by the Curriculum Revision Committe,
