Student nurse school rotation

Reflection:

On our first day on AV Hernandez located in Tondo, Manila, we toured the whole school and was
introduced to the School Nurse. Then our clinical instructor, Sir Ion discussed about the requirements
needed for the rotation. We also had our lectures about Stages of Development, MMDST, etc. Since we
only had a day of duty that week, we also planned what will we do the next week and the problems we
think are prominent on the students. I had a fun learning experience on school nursing even if it was
only our first day. We had many students who visited the clinic, some have fevers, and some had
physical injuries, mostly they had problems on their oral health. I think this opportunies are great for us,
student nurse to experience because we can really look on the real situation most students experienced.
We also have a Clinical Instructor who is really capable to teach us everything we need to know.
