What is the story of grandmother and grandfather?

George Rocher, a renowned pharmacist made a trip to Central America long ago, in 1927, to study
the medicinal components of certain natural compounds, and he met, living in a tribe, the pure
cocoa mixed with chili and other condiments, and tasted revelatory powers. This was what the
ancient Mayans drank in sacred ceremonies. The Mayans believed that cocoa had the power to
reveal the secret yearnings and destinies of the people who consumed it prepared in a certain
way. In that expedition, George knows Chitza, a beautiful Indian, he was a Catholic, she was a
nomadic Indian whose tribe went from town to town, from village to village, dispersing ancient
remedies. They fall in love and George takes her to France, where Chitza gives birth to their
daughter, Vianne. But one night, Chitza escapes with the girl because she feels that her destiny is
to roam the world distributing the properties of cacao, from village to village, from generation to
generation.
