The Steel Copper Witch

Far away from the town, in a small abandoned Coppermine, lived Whitney better known as
the Copper Witch. She was not only a kind-hearted girl, but she was also friendly with
everyone; however, three kids called Tom, Mario, and Nathan, made fun of her so that she
felt upset. There were parts of her body that were strange: her hands were too small if you
compare them with her arms, and her nose was snub like “The Wicked Witch of the West”
nose.

This pretty girl grew up eating apples and oranges from trees that were in front of her cave,
but one morning when she woke up and came outside the Coppermine, the leafy trees were
not there. An hour after that, she decided to go downtown to look for something to eat. She
was walking throughout the city for around three hours when she arrived at Sophia´s Coffee
Shop. There Sophia gave her a bagel and a glass of milk. While she was eating, she saw
three little boys who were outside the shop, and then she continuing eating. The three kids
were talking about how she looked. These kids were: Tom, Mario, and Nathan.

“Do you see that thing?” asked Nathan.

“Yes of course, she is ugly,” said Tom.

“She is hideous,” replied Mario.

For the first time in her life, the friendly and kindly girl did not feel upset; nevertheless, she
felt really angry and decided to do something that they will never forget. Therefore, she
decided that the only way to stop the offenses and to take revenge was kidnapping one of
these guys. She kept observing them for twenty minutes to know which one was more
vulnerable and also studying how to escape; then, she thanked Sophia and got out of the
shop. “Tomorrow is the day,” she said. After that, she walked to her cave.

The next day, she went to the coffee shop and smiled when she saw the shop sign. It said:
Sophia´s Coffee Shop. Then, she entered the store and waited for the guys to come again.
For the second time, Sophia gave her a bagel and a glass of milk. While she was waiting,
she pulled out a shining knife from the back pocket of her pants. When the three guys arrived
at the shop, sneaking up, she approached the door and got out of the store. Then, she put
the shinning knife around Tom´s throat and ran towards the parking lot. Immediately, Nathan
and Mario started yelling and crying.

“Tom was kidnapped,” yelled Mario.

“Help,” yelled Nathan.

While the witch was walking to her cave with Tom, the other two kids were running trying to
catch her, but they couldn´t. When they came back to tell Sophia what had happened, they
met Becca, Whitney´s cousin, in front of the parking lot.

“Hey, guys! What happened?” “Why are you yelling,” asked Becca.

“Tom was kidnapped!” answered Mario.

“Do you know who did that?” asked Becca.

“It was the witch,” said Nathan.

“Come on guys! Witches do not exist.” answered Becca.

Then, Becca said: if the witch existed, she would come back so that they decided to set a
tramp. The plan consisted that they put a gold bottle that had a GPS inside to know where
the witch lived. They put the gold bottle on the street in front of the coffee shop and waited.

“Hey! I have to buy some to food, so just stay there!” said the witch to Tom.

“Well! I can´t move so…” responded Tom looking to his hands, tied to the bed.

A few minutes after, the witch was walking to the fresh market to buy some food when she
saw something shining two blocks ahead, in front of the parking lot. She went towards the
object that was shining; then, she was closed to the object and realized that it was a gold
bottle.

“How beautiful it is! ”said the witch.

At least two minutes, she was uncertain about why it was there ,but then she picked up the
bottle; however, there was something that she didn´t know; it was that Mario, Nathan and
Becca were looking at her. The witch forgot to buy the food because she was really happy
that she found a gold bottle. While she was walking rapidly, Mario, Nathan and Becca were
following her, some steps behind. After walking for about twenty minutes, all of them arrived
at the Coppermine, but the kids waited across the cave.

Inside the Coppermine, the witch was too happy with the gold bottle and put it in an amazing
wooden table. Then, she looked Tom for a while, and after that, she said that he could leave,
but she made him promise her that he and his friend will never make fun of her.
“I promise not to make fun of you again, but let me go” said Tom.

“Now! You are free to go” responded the witch.

When Tom got out the cave, he saw his friends across the Coppermine and start to walk
towards them. Finally the four friends were together again.
