Fool Your Tongue!

What you need:


1. Cotton balls
2. Vanilla extract
3. Apple

What to do:
Step 1: Bite a piece of apple, and note the taste. If you have had an apple,
the taste shouldn’t be anything new!

Step 2: Put a few drops of vanilla into the cotton.

Step 3: Put the cotton in front of your nose, and eat another piece of the
apple while smelling the vanilla..

What just happened?
Did the second piece of apple taste different? It should’ve! Our tongues
can taste salty, bitter, sweet, and sour very easily, but other flavors or
tastes are connected to what we smell. That’s why the apple had a vanilla
taste!

DID Almost 3/4 of what we taste is related to what we smell?
