This is a high time for me to express my deepest gratitude and sincere submissions to Er. Sanjay
Baral, Service Incharge, Bindhya Service Centre, Pokhara for his tireless supervision and
guidance during the internship period despite of his busy schedule. His insatiable act of giving
knowledge, inspiration, support and suggestions always provided an enthusiasm to learn and give
the best out of me.
I am very much thankful to Associate Professor Phd. Surya Prasad Adhikari, Head, Department
of Mechanical Engineering, Pashchimanchal Campus for his regular support, concern and
directions during the program.
I would like to grant lots of thanks to technicians of Akhilesh, Shymal, Madhu and all others for
providing necessary technical ideas, information, guidance and supervision during work and
most importantly for teaching the value and importance of sincerity and honesty during work.
I would specially like to thank Laxmi Intercontinental Pvt. Ltd. for granting me access to one of
its service centers. This opportunity has been highly productive and has boosted up my
confidence, knowledge and interest in the field of automobiles.
Last but not the least, my thanks goes to Institute of Engineering, Tribhuwan University for
officially providing the opportunity to get linked up with industries which helps students to face,
know and understand the real world situations.

ABSTRACT

This report is the outcome of internship done at Bindhya Service Centre, Pokhara, an authorized
service centre for Hyundai motors. It includes the history and present scenario of Hyundai
motors and Laxmi Intercontinental Pvt. Ltd. The report primarily focuses on technical and
managerial knowledge gained during the internship period at Bindhya Service Centre, by
including the assignments given, tools and equipments used, methodology of learning,
maintenance and servicing activities learned and problems faced. Further, it enlists some
suggestions to Bindhya Service Centre as a feedback in 'recommendations' section. The report
exclusively contains the working procedure at Bindhya Service Centre and may not be applicable
to other automobile service industries.
Objectives of Industrial Attachment

Main Objectives:
The main objective of this Industrial Attachment is to expose students in actual field of work
through practical enrollment in industrial environment.

Sub Objectives:
The different Sub Objectives of an industrial attachment are:
 To develop and promote institutional – industrial linkages.
 To develop students positive attitude towards work through visits and supervision of
industrial attachment programs.
 Exposing students to industrial/Business/Social work culture through actual involvement
in real work in real work environment.
 Providing opportunities to students to apply skills acquired through formed institution in
a real work situation.
 Exposing students to technologies which are not available to them at the institute.
 Building confidence in technical operation, problem solving, team work and working
with professional in the world of work.
