Aiming to help younger generations improve their oral fluency, Davao Filipino-Chinese
Cultural Foundation, Inc. (DFCCFI) donated an 80-unit speech laboratory to F. Bangoy National
High School.

The members of the foundation - a non-stock, non-profit corporation, headed by Benito

C. Mesina attended the turnover ceremony of the facility on March 8, 2019, Friday.

“I am very happy to see another accomplishment of our foundation. This is our

contribution to the society especially in the education and in the younger generation.” The
president of DFCCFI stated in an interview.
As the head, he expressed that one way of achieving one of the prime advocacies of
their foundation which is to strengthen the education of the youth is to provide speech laboratory
to young learners.

“The facility will have a very big effect to the students because they can learn more
about the pronunciation, communication and everything.” Mesina added.

He mentioned that this 1.7 million state-of-the art facility in FBNHS is different among the
other recipients like Don Juan dela Cruz Elementary School in Toril and Kapitan Tomas
Monteverde Elementary School because it is the biggest with 80 cubicles that can
accommodate more than 70 students per class.

“Now that you have a speech laboratory, it is a privilege, because most of the public
schools have no speech laboratory. If we can fully enlighten the youth, I think they can learn a
lot.” The CEO said before ending the interview.

The event was graced with the presence of Hon. Michael Peiyung Hsu, Representative
of Taipei Economic & Cultural Office in the Philippines.
