INTRODUCTION LA Purpose Proper alignment of all joint members is the essential element of flange join assembly. It results in maximum seating surface contact, maximum opportunity for uniform gasket loading, and improves the effectiveness of bolt tightening method. This procedure is prepared for providing the crit ‘which need to be checked/inspected for aligning mating flange. 12° Scope ‘Ths procedure covers alignment inspection method which be applied to verify the join is Out-of-toleranée conditions. The-data'from inspection would be referred for any further activities to improves the effectiveness of bolted flange Join. Only minimum or reasonable adjustment should be made with bolted flange. ‘The best practice for repairing misaligned component by replacing it correctly, removing and reinstalling it in properly aligned position, or using uniform heat to relieve the stresses. This procedure shall be apply to all fange size. 1.3 Application This procedure applies to all bolts flange joints which subject to holding internal pressure, flammable gas and liquid to minimize leakage hapoen on flange/connection. 2.
