RSUP dr. Soeradji Tirtonegoro Hospital

Abstract

Laparatomy is a method of surgery that is mostly done due to the disease that requires surgery
such as cesarean section and and so on. Laparatomi caused pain, where if this pain doesn’t treated
would inhibit healing process. One of the ways to reduce pain in Laparatomi was early
mobilization. That process was very helpful in reduced the level of pain in post-operative
patients where the ischemic area would be nourished than blood flow in the body smooth,
oxygen needs in the body are met, so the healing process becomes faster and decreased pain.

The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of early mobilization to pain level of
postoperative Laparatomy patients in RSUP Dr. Soeradji Tirtonegoro Klaten.
This research method is a pre-experimental research, with quantitative analysis with pre-post-test
design without a control group (one group pre and post test design). The sampling technique
used was purposive sampling of 15 respondents. Wilxocon Signed Rank Test used to analized
data.

The results of the study was the characteristics of post-Laparatomi patients in RSUP Dr. Soeradji
Tirtonegoro Klaten has the lowest age of 23 years, the highest is 52 years and an average of 36.8
years, female sex (66.7%), male (33.3%), housewife (46.7%), and most of them have high school
education (53.3%). Wilcoxon Signed Rank Test obtained p = 0,000. Ha was accepted and H0
was rejected because p <0.05.
