Implementation Plan
Day 2 - 4:-
The discussion on the topic took place by exchange of views, questions were asked and answers were
given among teacher and students.
Day 5 - 6:-
The lesson in the classroom began, the teacher explained briefly about the different tasks that need to be
undertaken by the students. Each student was given different responsibilities and explained to perform.
Different groups were formed; each group consisted of equal number of intelligent, average, creative and
slow learners, to avoid bias.
Day 7 - 10:-
Dramas were demonstrated showing how violence against women takes place. This is a hands-on activity
and during this activity, each student participates in a creative drama with different roles, which will help
to develop their understanding how violence against women takes place.
Day 11, 12:-
The students were given ideas of how slogans are written and a slogan writing competition was
organized. Also students were told about the different type of quotes, were asked to search for
the same and prepare charts with meaningful quotes.
Day 13:-
The collage making completion was conducted and students were asked to collect pictures about the
violence against women for the same.
The impact of violence against women was discussed among teacher and students, the causes and
consequences of the topic were discussed along with a power point presentations and display of several
videos.
Day 16 -17:-
Students were taken out for visit to NGOs where the victims are taken care of. The students were asked
to write a report on types of violence experienced by the women.
Day 18 - 19:-
A Guest lecture was arranged to show the Rate of criminal harassment against women. The statistical data
was shown and contents were explained.
Students were asked to collect the information about reasons for violence against women in their area.
The teacher guides the group leaders to analyze the data obtained and to create a graph of the findings.
Also discussion regarding the same took place.
Day 20 - 22:-
Students were asked to collect different news articles cutouts related to current violence against women.
Discussion was done in which the student- teacher opinions were put forth and discussed. Students were
asked to search blogs, articles, videos, photos, etc. on social media such as twitter, facebook etc. The
findings were then discussed.
Day 23 - 25:-
Students were evaluated on the basis of a written questionnaire, multimedia power point presentation and
Brochure designed. Also certificates were awarded for the dramatics performed.
