Artifact Description: We will use tools through Apple Pages in order to design seating charts for

a classroom.

What I Learned: One thing I really liked about this assignment was the fact that we can actually

use this layout in our actual classroom. The professor mentioned how we can save this as a

template and use it per period for seating charts. I really liked that. I never knew or understood

how teachers made seating charts, so it is very interesting to be able to make one myself now.

leverage technology to take an active role in choosing, achieving and demonstrating competency

in their learning goals, informed by the learning sciences.

Application of Skills Learned for the Future: This is definitely something I will use in the future.

It will be the layout I will use for all of my classes and periods. Since this is exactly how I want

the layout to be, it will be nice to have the template already. I remember my teacher had a layout

just like this in tenth grade. It made everyone pay attention to the teacher, and she was able to

keep an eye on all of us. It was a really interesting layout, and this is definitely something I will

use to make seating charts in the future.
