Artifact Description: Using technology to create a truss bridge with symmetrical lines.

What I learned: I learned how to use Apple Pages in order to create symmetrical lines. It is very

important to learn the technology that you have, regardless of if you will use it or not. Therefore,

I learned that you can make different shapes and designs using Pages.

National Educational Technology Standards for Students (NETS)•S Addressed:

Students will use technological skills in order to form symmetrical bridges. Students will

demonstrate their knowledge of technology by forming a truss bridge through Microsoft.

Application of Skills Learned for the Future: I think this is a great assignment. I was not

aware of the tools you can use with Apple Pages. This is a great way for students to

understand how to use the tools they are given. It was a fun project to do, and it is

definitely an interactive project for younger students. It promotes creativity, as well as,

teaches students about technology.
