CONTENT STANDARD : The learner demonstrates understanding of the significant roles of artists
from the regions

PERFORMANCE STANDARD : The learner creates avenues to advocate the arts from the different
regions.

LEARNING COMPETENCIES/
OBJECTIVES : The learner researches on various contemporary art forms
(CAR11/12CAP-Oc –e-4)

At the end of the topic, the students will create artworks from Region 3

TASKS MATERIALS

I. ACTIVITY
1. Review the previous lesson GAMABA
1. What is the Republic act in GAMABA?
2. What are the differences in qualifications of the GAMABA  Laptop, Power Point
and National artist?
3. What are the similrities in qualifications of the GAMABA presentation
and National artist?

II. ANALYSIS

2. Ask the students about the different provinces of Region 1.


1. What are the different provinces you know in Region 1?

III. ABSTRACTION

3. Discussion on Region 1
The teacher will let the students report the different
landmarks, art crafts, writers, folk songs, and folk dances of
Region 1.

 Specifically, Ilocos norte, Ilocos Su, La Union and
Pangasinan

IV. APPLICATION
4. Application

The teacher will ask the students on what are the significant
artworks in Region1 which is known all over the country.
 What is the importance of knowing the arts of Region1?

5. Evaluating activity

 Activity on Burnay . The teacher will instruct the students to draw


a jar like Burnay and design anything about Region1.
