number of excellent collections consisting of dance tunes, fantasies, and arrangements of vocal music.
(hear Chilesotti (1848.1916) an Italian musicologist transcrioed the ai:lcicnt lute tablature into modem
notation. I have chosen six, popular, and anonymous lutc pieces from the transcriptions of this noled
sdlOlar.
