Circuits and Simulation Integrated Lab

Time: 3 Hours Max. Marks: 100

1. Design a current series feedback amplifier and determine the frequency response, gain
and bandwidth and calculate the input impedance and output impedance with and without
feedback. Assume IC = 1 mA, VRE = 1V, R2 = 10 KΩ, VCC = 12 V.

2. Design a voltage Shunt feedback amplifier and determine the frequency response, gain,
bandwidth and calculate the input impedance and output impedance. Assume I C = 1 mA,
VRE = 1V, R2 = 10 KΩ, VCC = 12 V.
3. Design and construct a RC phase shift oscillator to obtain the sine wave for a frequency
of 2 kHz, hfe=100

4. Design and construct an Integrator & Differentiator circuit and obtain the output
waveforms for the square and sine waveform as input.
5. Construct the following clipper circuit and obtain the corresponding output if the input is a
sine wave of 12 V (p-p).
(i) Positive clipper
(ii) Negative Clipper
6. Construct the positive clamper and negative clamper circuit and obtain the corresponding
waveform, if the input is a sine waveform and a square waveform of amplitude 10 V(p-p).
7. Design and construct a free running multivibrator to get an output square waveform and
calculate its TON and TOFF.
8. Design and construct a one-shot multivibrator to get an output pulse waveform and
calculate its TON and TOFF.
9. Design and construct a Hartley oscillator to get a sine wave output of 4.5 KHz frequency.
10. Design and construct a Colpitts oscillator to get a sine wave output of 9 KHz frequency.

11. Design and construct a class – C tuned amplifier for a resonant frequency of 7 KHz and
determine the frequency response of the amplifier.
Simulation Using PSPICE
1. Simulate a class c tuned amplifier circuit and obtain the corresponding waveform using
Pspice.
2. Simulate a Bistable multivibrator to get a square waveform using Pspice.
3. Simulate a Schmitt trigger and obtain the corresponding waveform for the sine wave
input using Pspice

4. Simulate a tuned collector circuit and obtain the corresponding waveform using Pspice.
5. Simulate a monostable multivibrator using Pspice
6. Simulate a Voltage time base generator using Pspice.
7. Simulate a Wein bridge oscillator and obtain the corresponding waveform using Pspice.
