Good afternoon ladies and gentlemen, to all the faculty of
Romana C. Acharon Central Elementary School, and to the principal Ma’am Aileen A. Jamero! “Education is the passport to the future, for tomorrow belongs to those who prepare for it today and the only person who is educated is the one who has learned how to learn …and change.” This quote says a lot for those who are eager and those who are strong willed to have access to education and to finish their education. This book donation drive is one of the programs of the Rotary Club of General Santos City that I like most, because it does not only give children new sets of books but it emphasize that the club and our partners the Don Bosco and Kristan gives importance and value to education, that these groups are willing to give free books just to donate to all of you, so let’s give them a masigabong palakpakan. That’s why today, as we turn over these books to all of you I hope that you will give more value and importance to your education and you should strive hard to achieve your dreams. I would like to take this opportunity to say thank you with our partners, to the Don Bosco, to the Kristan, to the Department of Education and to all of you who are here today supporting this program especially to my fellow Rotarians. Lastly, I pray that all of you will achieve your dreams and that these books will help you with your future. Yes for Education, Yes for the Children’s Future!
Thank you so much for everyone and good afternoon once
