As a non-traditional student, online courses are ‘very important for my educational goals, I work full-time inthe Collegeof Arts and Sciences Advising Office and online courses are very convenient for me Ihave taken many of Professor Bokiue-Simpson’s courses and I must say she is one ofthe best instructors at PGCU. Professor Bolde-Simpson is kind, understanding and genuine. She was very helpful and always accessible should an ise arise throughout the semester She gave explicit directions foreach assignment 0 you knew exactly what was expected forall coursework. Her use of technology forthe course was easy to use and made the assignments extremely enjoyable. We not only learned the content ofthe cours, but we also learned new technology that could be used for presentations throughout our college carer and beyond. The course was setup lke a video game with levels foreach lesson, A badge was given forthe completion ofeach assignment. There were also extra “quests” 1o ad fo your total sore. If you were competitive, these uests gave you the opportunity to acquire extra points which led to beter badges. You Started asa novice and could continue to become a masz payer. Tere was a leaderboard with everyone having an alias so you could watch each other's progress. The feedback we got from Profesor Bolduc ‘Simpson was beneficial making me want to strive todo beter.
