Aim: Introduce yourself

Level Begginer ( 8-10)

Pre-listening

Time 10 minutes

Teacher asks to the students close their eyes and listen to the sounds. (2minutes)

Then teacher sprays sea perfume/esence

Finally ask them to touch some objects( shells, starfish).(3 minutes)

Now teacher asks them to open their eyes and share about their sensations, feelings and where
they think the sounds are from. What fragance they smelled and what elements they touched. (2
minutes)

Sharing ideas (3minutes)

While listening

Teacher put some pictures on the board about animals with their names below, starfish, goldfish,
crab ( included shark, seahorse, fish, octopus,)

1-She plays the dialogue and students listen and complete the dialogues using the pictures as a
guide.

2-Then they complete their names to identify them.

3- Listen and say True or False

a- Sara is a fish
b- Chole is an octopus
c- Oliver is a shark
d- Shark says: ” Bye, Bye”
e- Shark loves fish.

Post listening

Choose one of these two activities to represent the introduction.

In groups of four choose one animal and introduce yourself using a rhythm (rap, rock, cumbia or
others) you decide.

You can use a mask.
