1-What was/were the learning objectives/outcomes of the lesson? (Add state objectives if
known, for example, TEKS §111.4. Grade 2.b.)
Ans: The learning objective was on written on the board and its fellow the weekly calendar
which stated the topics that the teacher was going to cover from the School. The student-teacher
was finishing their objective which was regarding “How to make Alphabet and how they look”.
Students had to make the ABC by method of Game and put color on the shape of Alphabets.
2-How did the teacher begin and end the lesson?
Ans: Teacher start with attendance of the student and then start the video by ABC letter song
with shape as well she expresses the shape of alphabet and how to pronounce the letter with
song. She has a five letter of alphabet and end of the work finish the word and fill out the
worksheet of the class. way explain is good with good smile so kids are enjoyed.
3-What did the teacher use for teaching materials or instructional aids/equipment?
Ans: The teacher did not use much any electronic device but once start with overhead projector
for the warm-up song and then some video about alphabets.
4-Which instructional methods and strategies did the teacher use? ( lecture, inquiry,
discovery learning, discussions, games or simulations, demonstrations, cooperative learning,
integration of technology, socrative questioning, etc).
Ans: It was mostly cooperative since most of the class period was about the students being in
their IPADS so they fellow if they needed or as per class requirement.
5-How did the teacher assess learning? (informal, formal, formative, summative, oral, open-
ended, quiz, feedback etc) See Chapter 8 for more information on assessment methods
Ans: Here in the class of PRE K only teacher told sing a song so sing song every ten minutes so
the learnt very easy and since student are small so She did give them feedback on students that
had difficulties with the assignment. At the end of the class, there was no review regarding the
lesson or objective.
6- What can you say about the teacher’s philosophy/beliefs and style?
(Traditional/progressive, behaviorist, student-centered vs. teacher centered, authoritative etc)
Ans:I saw the teacher during the class and I noted their teaching style was implemented by the
academy rules and they have some rules for the teaching from the district. The teacher believes
that it’s almost the same as the traditional, but a bit more distractive for the students because they
spend more time in groups and they can get off-task easily.

7-How does the teacher manage classroom? Can you identify classroom management
techniques used?
Ans: Yes, due to small kids she has always have issue during the class and she once she feel that
then she use the some different same techniques such as play the game and clap the hands and
some other. Since the class was mostly doing their activity.
8-Observe in the classroom setting and determine types of behavior students play when off-
task. What do they do when they are not paying attention? How does the teacher re-direct
them or get them back on task?
Ans: In this case teacher feel if they not understand then end of class before she revises the
lesson to the student. The teachers would just ask their parents with notes which is online section
parent should fulfill. If any questions or they needed help.
9-How does the teacher communicate with students (verbal, vocal, meta-verbal or non-verbal
communication such as facial, body language, use of space, motion and time?)
Ans: Most of her communication was verbal.
10-Who were the students in the class? What did you notice about them? (Background,
diversity, attitude, motivation, interaction, participation, etc)
Ans: It was PRE K class so their teacher was motivated them to participate within the group.
11-What did you see that is effective in engaging students? What do you see that is
ineffective in keeping students engaged?

The Class teacher main strategy to keep students engaged during class, she give them different
activity in the classroom. This way students know that you want them to be on task and that you
are keeping a close eye on them. Like teach them how to clean the class and help to teacher at
different activity.

12-What are the two instructional strategies you observed and would like to apply in your
classroom?
Ans: As this teacher good thing was teacher keep them busy if feel bore then she change their
mind the give the task like game and also teacher had collection of different games about
drawing and song so that thing I can apply as my career once the student feel bore or may be not
understand so we give the them different exercise so they will enjoyed.
13-What are two important classroom management strategies that you observed and would
like to apply in your classroom?
Ans: My class is PRE K there wasn’t that much classroom management used in this class. The
teacher fellow the accdamy rules and regulation as per district requiemnet.Keep desiplain and fill
the worksheet.
