Department Description India Rewards, Human Resources – responsible for India compensation & benefits strategies and operations
Scope of Responsibilities/Expectations The job holder will be an Individual Contributor working with the India Rewards Head and helping to managing and providing total Rewards solutions to business organization in India - Monitor market trend/government regulations on pay and benefits, and highlight need for appropriate policy/program changes; - Drive implementation and communicate to employees on new or revised compensation and benefits programs - Operate as a consultant with the HR team and Managers - Help to manage rewards programs & processes for India, including but not limited to market survey participation, annual insurance renewal for medical/life/pa insurance and benefits vendor management - Work on salary benchmarking and market data analysis to ensure internal and external equity - Help to design and deliver Rewards training/communication package to all levels in the corporation; - Provides support in Country HR/Rewards projects and participates into regional/global HR/Rewards activities along with the Country Rewards - Prepare detailed analysis and reports such as compensation analysis info, annual benefits cost, organization and flow charts and career pathway reports for management’s review
Specific Knowledge/Skills - University degree in human resources, MIS, business, management or related areas; A MBA will be an added advantage (Bachelor degree in HR/Management/Sc) - 3-6 years of C&B experience in a multinational company, semiconductor industry experience preferred, or a consulting company with excellent knowledge of local laws - Possess knowledge in C&B areas like market pricing, C&B systems and/or process development, job evaluation, pay planning, benefits program design & administration - Possess excellent communication skills and effectively interacts at all levels - Should be able to work without ambiguity, be independent and willing to take initiatives, challenges and responsibilities; - Advanced analytical skills; - Fluent in written and spoken English
