FOREWORD

This workbook is made to widen the wisdom and

knowledge of youth about Filipino Values of Diplomacy, self-
initiative, survival, diligence and patience. How these certain
values affect our daily lives, how can we Filipinos apply
these every day. Making a workbook for everyone about the
values of Filipinos is not an easy task. It requires dedication,
passion, time and effort to extract various information from
reliable and trusted resources.

Much has been already y written about Filipino

values. Many are based on impressions, some on
systematic surveys. Some focuses on the positive values but
some on the negative values that we Filipino possess. This
workbook will show you both side of the Filipino values. A
set of thoughts and ideas are gathered in order to show
readers a clear and precise content about this certain topic.
It includes how a Filipino can build or have the value that
each and everyone should have. That not all positive values
only bring good outcome but it can also gives negative one.

This is composed of five chapters. Each chapter will

discuss and explain one Filipino value. Values is where
every country, individual becomes distinct and unique. So,
values are very important for everyone and these should be
known by everybody. May the youth, readers learn
something from this book and continue to seek, discover,
explore and learn from this because with this simply reading
this it could give additional knowledge that could be big help
in the future.
PREFACE

Being a real Filipino is hard for everyone. A person

who have a heart, mind and soul of a true Filipino. It is one
of the hardest battles that most of us lose. We are born as a
Filipino or Filipino by blood but try to be someone we are
not. Filipino values made the Philippines and its people
distinct from everybody but why do Filipinos neglect it?

A Filipino should embrace the things which are meant

for them. Values that Filipino should possess and not the
values of foreign places and people. Values of diplomacy,
self- initiative, survival. Diligence and patience because
these are what they are known for.

Five chapters of this book is done to serve as an eye

opener for the readers. A workbook that gives meaningful
and interesting facts that nourishes the mind and heart of
Filipinos.
