MATERIALS:

Samples of the following:

 Gasoline Bottle Caps


 Kerosene Match
 Lighter Fluid Stop Watch
 Ethyl Alcohol
 Isopropyl Alcohol
 Other Hydrocarbons

PROCEDURES:
1. Observe the physical properties of the samples and record your observations.
2. Place equal amount of liquid samples on a metallic bottle cap (tansan).
3. Test the flammability of these liquids by placing a lighted matchstick. Record the
time it takes the liquid to burn completely.
