Maxwell’s Equations are partial differential equations that relate the electric and
magnetic fields to each other and to the electric charges and currents. Often the
charges and currents are themselves dependent on the electric and magnetic
fields via the Lorentz force equation and the constitutive relations.
Maxwell’s Equations are a set of four differential equations that form the
theoretical basis for describing classical electromagnetism .
GAUSS LAW:
Electric charges produce an electric field. The electric flux across a closed surface
is proportional to the charge enclosed.
∫E⋅dA
=Q/ε0
FARADAY’S LAW:
Time –varying magnetic fields produce an electric field.
AMPERE’S LAW:
Steady currents and time- varying electric fields(the later due to Maxwell’s
correction) produce a magnetic field.
∫B.dl = μ0I
