Conditionals

As its name says, Conditionals are used to express Conditions.

They exist Zero (0), First (1), Second (2) and Third (3) Conditionals.

On these notes, we are going to focus only on Zero Conditional.

Zero Conditional

It’s to express conditions in the present, with an immediate result or effect:

If you press this button, the machine starts.

When you exercise your brain, you become more intelligent.

(La máquina enciende si presionas este botón).

You become more intelligent when you exercise your brain.


(Te vuelves más inteligente cuando ejercitas tu cerebro).

As you see, IF (si) and WHEN (cuando), are INDISPENSABLE to provide a conditional statement.
