At the outset the PCSTE/SWR had welcomed all the members present in the
meeting and the following items were discussed:

A. LAW PH-33 –
(1) Replacement of LED Signal: 90% LED supplied & installed.
(2) Replacement of defective signalling cable: work in progress.
(3) Replacement of worn out panels at CLR, QLM Section: Physically work
completed.CR would be drawn in this month
(4) Class ‘A’ protection @13 stations and MFE @12 stations: Physically work
completed.CR would be drawn in this month
(5) Replacement of IPS battery @18 stations: Final bill is pending.
PCSTE REMARKS: Works to be completed by this year in all respect
including CR & works to be deleted from IRPSM
B. LSWP PH-33 UBL Division
(1) Closure of LC 309 and shifting of starter @ MGD & KRKP.
PCSTE Remarks: Some inverters are pending for supply. This
work should also be closed and CR to be drawn. TDC:31.03.2020
(2) Shifting of starter signal @ MGH, JRKT, LMT, AGL & JML.
(1) PWP PH-33
(2) CLR- QLM – Tunnel Radio System: It is advised by PCSTE that this
work to be handed over to RCIL. Estimate maybe collected from RCIL.
(3) Smoke and Fire Detection and Extinguishers at 107 stations and
Smoke and Fire Suppression System at UBL West: As this is a prime
target 100% commissioning to be done by March 2020. Sr.DSTE/UBL
committed 40 stations by March 2020.Condonation regarding RDSO
limit as development vendors, has already been taken from PCSTE.
(3) ELD @ 70 Stations & FACS Provision: Work is pending at few stations
which will be completed and work would be closed by March 2020.

(4) PH – 29
(1) Manning of LC @ 93 No’s: Physical work completed. CR to be drawn.
TDC: 31.03.2020.
(2) Manning of LC @ 31 No’s: Work is progressing as per Engineering
requirement. PCSTE advised to draw derivation cable as per
requirement and close the contract.
(3) Sliding boom @ 55 Traffic LCs : Work completed. CR to be drawn. TDC:
28.02.2020. New work for Engineering LCs is proposed.
E. PH – 53 (LSWP)
(1) Replacement of old CGDB at GDG, LD & TNGL: CR to be drawn after
May’2020 when maintenance period is over.
(2) Replacement of old CGDB @ GPB: Work completed. CR to be drawn.
TDC: 28.02.2020
(3) Replacement of old CGDB @ 3 platforms @ UBL station: The work is
awarded to M/s Advance Hi-tech which is not working. Letter to be sent
to RDSO from PCSTE.
(4) Reservation availability status @UBL, DWR, BGM, VSG, BAY, HPT & BJP:
Work completed. CR to be drawn. TDC:31.03.2020
(5) Electronic reservation charts at ‘A’ category stations:Work completed.

(6) IP based surveillance system – Work completed. CR to be drawn.

(7) CIB @ Koppal station- Work completed. CR to be

(8) CIB @ SVM station PF No. 1- Work completed. CR to be

(9) TV with train information in waiting hall: Work is in progress. TDC:
31.03.2020
(10) Provision of SLTIB @ UBL- The work is awarded to M/s Advance Hi-tech
which is not working.
(11) Passenger Amenities for second entry @ UBL: Work completed but bill
not claimed by contractor. Suo Moto bill to be processed by duly
informing the contractor and work to be dropped from next year.
(12) Joint development of HPT railway Station. The work is delaying due to
Engineering building construction work. Letter to be written to DRM/UBL
with a copy to PCE/SWR. (ASTE/Tele/HQ)
(13) DWR redevelopment of station building Phase-I – Work is in progress.
(14) CIB, TIB & GPS @ KBL & BDM, TIB & GPS @ BJP, BAY, BGM, VYS &
 BGK- Recently awarded. Work in progress.

(15) Upgradation of CIB @BJP, BAY, BGM, VSG & BGK : Recently awarded .
Work in progress.
(16) The detailed plan of action to be prepared for works for which detailed
estimate is under vetting & sanctioned under PH-29,33 & 53.
(16) Reliability & replacement works – 15-20 Works to be kept ready in
bank. Heading of the works to be proper.
(17) Where ever new PF or new station work is done by Construction/RVNL,
all Passenger Amenities regarding telecom should be provided by
Construction itself. If required letter to be sent on behalf of DRM/UBL to
CAO/CON or RVNL for the same.
(18) VHF Walkie –Talkie licence fee pending: - D.O letter on behalf of DRM to
PFA to be sent to pay outstanding spectrum charges. Issue to be raised
in punctuality meetings by divisions and before GM, if required.

Others:
(5) Fencing arrangement around location box may be created in
workshop/UBL
(6) D&G position of division duly vetted by associate finance to be sent to
the HQ.
(7) Detailed estimates to be get sanctioned for all the new works by May,
2020.
(8) Any leftover sections where BPAC/SSDAC is not available may be
informed.
(9) Issues with M/s Adv Hitech & M/s HBL to be sent to HQ, so that letter
may be sent to RDSO.
(10) Passenger amenities should be provided by CON/RVNL themselves for
particular station where new PF works taken up by Construction/RVNL.
if required DRM should write to CAO/CON or RVNL.
(11) HPT Joint development of station in association with Ministry of
Tourism: This work is getting delayed due to pending Engg work of
building construction. Letter to be written to DRM and copy to PCE
from HQ.

MYS Division
PH-33
(12) All the works under PH-33 of MYS division have been completed and CR
will be drawn before 31.03.2020 except construction of stores for
SSE/S/HAS which is work in progress. TDC: March’2020
(13) Provision of cable markers – Work in progress. TDC:2020
(14) VoIP based control communication system: Tender Opening on
01.02.2020.
PH – 53 (LAW / DWP)
(15) CIB @ ASK, RRB, SBHR – Work is in progress. TDC: February’2020.
(16) Video wall @ MYS – TDC February’2020
(17) 5/6 Line true colour LED TIB @ MYS- Tender to be floated. Better
availability of display from M/s Delta etc is to be explored by
Sr.DSTE/MYS.
(18) MYS – Improvement of circulating area. Work is in progress. 95%
completed. TDC: February’2020
(19) MYS – Improvement to second entry. Work is in progress. 95%
completed. TDC: February’2020
(20) Raising and extension of Passenger PF @ MRLA, BDGP & KRNU – Work
completed. Final bill to be passed.
PH – 29 (PB/LAW/DWP)
(21) Manning of LCs 131nos: CR to be drawn TDC March 2020
(22) Sliding boom @ 17 Traffic LCs: Work in progress TDC March 2020
(23) Manning of LCs 30 Nos: store bill pending work completed TDC March
2020.
PH – 30 (PB/LAW/DWP)
(24) Elimination of Unmanned LCs: Work completed, but under warranty
upto 13.05.2020. CR to be drawn by June’2020.
(25) Shifting of cable in connection with 12 Unmanned LCs. Work
completed. To be dropped from IRPSM.
(26) Elimination of manned LCs: Work to be reviewed by Sr DSTE/MYS in
detail.

IRPSM
(27) Replacement of Overaged secondary cells over MYS division. Purchase
IPS with RE specifications. 200AH battery may be procured.
(28) Identify stations for power supply improvement. Letter to be written to
Sr.DEE.
(29) Replacement and Overaged VDU earlier specifications especially
resolution of VDU may not support the VDU. It may be discussed with
OEM. Also policy for VDU size for way side station may be issued.
Others
(30) Estimate to be sanctioned by MAY, 2020 for all new works in this year
(31) Any leftover sections where BPAC/SSDAC is not available may be
informed.
(32) Issues with M/s Adv Hitech & M/s HBL to be sent to HQ, so that letter

B PB-PH.33

1. Provision of smoke & fire detectors fire extinguisher system @ 59 stations: Tender opened
on -26.12.2019. But still under TC. TC finalisation should not be delayed or so long. TC
should be immediately finalised.
2. Smoke & fire detectors alarm & suppression system @ 7 stations: Tender opening on
27.02.2020.
3. Provision of cable route remarks safe guarding the quad cable in SA, TK MYS section: - 30%
work completed & work stopped by contractor.
If contractor is not working the decision should be taken to close the work by taking action
against defaulting contractor.
4. Replacement of defective quad cable over SBC Div:- 80% work completed contract
terminated : Tender to be floated immediately . TDC -11 th march 2020 .
5. Replacement of over raged point machines in YPR, YNK, HUP, BYPL, KPN, BWT, SBC & MYS
section: 90% work is completed if work is completed then close the contract & do not
process further variations in it.
6. Provision of FACAS @ 52 stations: work should be completed TDC 30.04.2020.
7. Provision of HASSDAC @ girder bridges @ BNC, BID & MAD. This work shall not continue in
next year TDC 31.03.2020. If required propose MSDAC for BNC in umbrella work.
8. Replacement of old 6 quad between KGI-CPT section : Work in progress
9. Provision of HASSDAC BPAC between BPT –MKM block section: work is under review. Token
block is obsolete technology. Unless OFC & quad is laid by RE, This work cannot be
completed.
As token block is unreliable & unsafe it shall be suspended and should not be overhauled
next time. One train only system Could be started by operating.

1. extension of buffer end road 11 to up M/L @ MYS end in Bengaluru city : Detailed estimate
Sanctioned on 14.11.2019 TDC-18.03.2020
2. Provision of IBS between YNK-CSDR:-detailed Scheme of the work to be sent to CSE for
approval CRS application to be processed.
3. RMGM – BID: - Get scheme approval from HQ. Status of SIP to be checked.

D Road safety works planning

1. Provision of RTU @ 10 interlocked LC: TDC: 30.05.2020.

UBL Div BPAC @ 28 block sections: All sections commissioned except
(a) HPT-VYSASA colony due to closure of TBDM station
(b) BTP- HG section will be done by construction CR should be processed TDC march
 2020 for BJP-HG section where work to be done by construction. joint note to be
prepared by Dy.CSTE/Proj/UBL & Dy.CSTE/Con/UBL for handing over & taking over
with details of work to be done & scope etc.

1. Bangalore WFD automatic signalling commissioned on 19.02.2019 it one year since
commissioning why this work could not be closed this year should be received & details to

BNC (east)- 24th coach trains, particular signal is failing due to placement of detection point
Technical solution to be explored.
2. BWT Extension of platform No.5 & 6 with modification of foot over bridge CRS Sanction
received as 31.01.2020 the work should be completed.
3. MZV Down gladding of MZV (IBH) to IBS TCL-BWT: commissioned 21.05.2018 should be
deleted from IRPSM.
4. BFW down gladding of BFWC (IBH) to IBS between MLO-TCL: commissioned on 23.05.2018
should be deleted from IRPSM.
5. SBC-BNC automatic signalling (4.285km) commissioned on 16.08.2019
should be deleted from IRPSM

as raised by Sr.DSTE/MYS & SBC issue.
Comments & details of failures etc..,
with regards to m/s UBL may be sent to HQ for initiating the same to RDSO.
2. HASSDAC in greater sections (MYS Div) 4 sections commissioned out of 8 sections.

C. PH-33 TELECOM WORKS

1. Provision of STM1 & PD MUX in SMT-TLGP & DRU-CMGR. Work physically completed and
financially yet to be completed. This work should be deleted from IRPSM, Next year.
2. Provision of BPAC in RRB-SMET(MYS div): Final variation under vetting: work should be deleted
from IRPSM
3.Interlocking of LCs 15 nos in MYS div: 14 LCs commissioned. One LC would be commissioned in this
month. This work should also be deleted from IRPSM.
