Students in both the BT and BC classes are taught presentation skills.

The teacher explains

what is expected when presenting and models that behavior to demonstrate to students how

they are expected to present. Students are told to engage their audience by not turning their

back to the audience, project their voices and ask questions. Students are expected to use a

microphone during all presentations. Feedback is provided to students after each presentation

to encourage them to become more comfortable speaking before an audience. Students have

many opportunities to present in class throughout the year as a large portion of their grade is

based on presentation skills.
