Different branches of government of the Republic of the Philippines

Executive Branch

This is Malacañang Palace, the official residence of the


President of the Republic of the Philippines.

In the picture was a cabinet meeting held by President of the Republic of the Philippines and
attended by the Executive Secretary and the different cabinet members.

Legislative Branch

This is the building of the House of Senate, all


the legislative measures done by the Senate
takes place here.
The Philippines adopted a Bicameral Legislature. This is the first house, the House of Senate,
which is composed of 24 senators.

This is the building of the House of


Representatives, all the legislative measures
done by the lower-house takes place here.

The second house was the House of Representatives. This house is currently composed of 306
members, who came from the different regions and party-lists in the Philippines.

Judicial Branch
The official building of the Supreme Court of
the Philippines.

This is the Judicial branch of the Republic of the Philippines, the highest court in the country,
the Supreme Court.

Britain and Northern Ireland

Executive Branch

This is the 10 Downing Street simply


known as Number 10. The official
residence of the British Prime Minister. The
Cabinet meetings are also held here.

In the picture was a cabinet meeting, held by the British Prime Minister together with the 21
cabinet ministers.
Legislative Branch

The Palace of Westminster, this serves


as the meeting place of both House of
Commons and the House of Lords.

The upper house of the British Parliament, the House of Lords. Officially, the full name of the
house is the Right Honorable the Lords Spiritual and Temporal of the United Kingdom of Great
Britain and Northern Ireland in Parliament assembled.

The lower house of the British Parliament, the House of Commons.


Judicial Branch

The Middlesex Guildhall is the home of the


British Supreme Court.

The British Supreme Court is the final court of appeal in the UK for civil cases, and for criminal
cases from England, Wales and Northern Ireland. It hears cases of the greatest public or
constitutional importance affecting the whole population.
