1) Write two paragraphs about the journey of one cell through mitosis and meiosis. Write
about the benefits of mitosis versus meiosis and vice versa. Include important events,
use the vocabulary found in 5.2 and use personification (giving human like qualities to a
non-human) when writing your response. Be creative!!
2) (Bell ringer prompt) Write about a time you were running, playing or exercising so hard
that you were out of breath and felt fatigue. Why do you think this happens?
3) (Bell ringer prompt) How would humans not be able to function without plants? Would
plants be able to function without humans? Specify what function would be impaired.
