Accreditation Review

On behalf of the Ontario College of Teachers, I would like to thank you for your involvement
as an interviewee for the renewal of accreditation for the consecutive program of
professional education at the Faculty of Education, University of Ottawa. Your interview
responses will inform quality assurance and continuous improvement of pre-service teacher
education in Ontario. Generally, program renewals are conducted once every seven years. As
such, your contribution to this program accreditation review is significant.

The Ontario College of Teachers serves in the public interest. Given that the decision of the
Accreditation Committee regarding this review will be made available to the public, this
speaks to trust, transparency and accountability.

Including this experience in your professional portfolio will highlight your professionalism
and contributions to the teaching profession. It is both a privilege and a responsibility to
