11th ANNUAL WOMEN'S POWER LUNCH RAISED

$15,000 FOR MUTUAL GROUND
Aurora, IL - SHARE Fox Valley is a group of women who collaborates with
the Community Foundation of the Fox River Valley to organize the annual
Women’s Power Lunch. In March the group presented Mutual Ground board
members with a $15,000 check. Designed to empower and recognize women
in the Fox Valley community, the group identified Mutual Ground as the
recipient of the annual Women's Power Lunch proceeds. Located in Aurora,
IL, Mutual Ground Inc., is one of the largest and oldest domestic violence
shelters in the state.

"We are happy to support Mutual Ground with the proceeds from the 11th
Annual Women’s Lunch,” stated group member, Wendy Martarano. "Our
plan is to continue to support more empowering organizations in the future.”

SHARE Fox Valley, in conjunction with the Community Foundation of the Fox
River Valley, organize the Women's Power Lunch each September. Last year,
attendance exceeded 300 attendees and raised $15,000 for Mutual Ground.
The committee hopes that the 2020 Power Lunch will exceed this
amount. The event has grown from the initial attendance of 30 individuals
raising under $1,000 to the successful event it is today. This year’s event
