Title of the Project: MULTILICATION ACCELERATON THROUGH BAUGH-

WOOLEY MULTIPLIER

Abstract:

In this project, we are going present an efficient implementation of a high speed

multiplier named baugh-wooley multiplier. This parallel multiplier uses lesser adders and lesser
iterative steps. It will result to occupy lesser space as compared to the serial multiplier. This is
very important criteria because in the fabrication of chips and a high performance system
requires components which are as small as possible. The proposed method not only improves the
accuracy but also reduces the hardware complexity and also takes less power. This multiplier is
used to multiply both unsigned and signed binary numbers up to 64 bits. This multiplier can be
demonstrated and implemented easily through manually as well as practically. This is most
useful as digital signal processing applications.
