 Lung Capacity

The amount of air lung capacity is approximately on 4.500 – 5.000 ml. The

air, which processes on the lung (inspiration and expiration), is only 10 % that

is + 500 ml, It is called as the tidal air, which is used for breath on the regular

respiratory.

 Respiratory Speed

On the female respiratory, the speed of respiratory is higher than on the male,

on the normally respiratory expiration will be lead into inspiration and then

take time for a while; on the baby, sometime can be turn around, that is

inspiration, take time – expiration, it is also called as turn around respiratory.

 Respiratory Dynamic

Pushes Air Pressure from the breath circulation is push into the thorax wall

direction, the inner pressure on the pleura area is avoid from the decreasing

from the thorax wall and force the lung to follow thorax wall breath

movement and this breath movement is being produced by the respiratory

muscles. Time for the diaphragm muscle expiratory, which is relaxation, is

higher toward the diaphragm and it is freely moved to the completed area

between diaphragm and the thorax wall.

RESPIRATORY SYSTEM

By Ida Nursanti, S.Kep,Ns

Respiratory is the process of changing the O2 gas and Co2,w hich are happen in

the lung and in the network. The air is come in to the lung when take breath and

pushed out when outing the breath. With breathing, every cell on the body is

accepting the O2 supply and on the same time release the result product (CO2).

The Respiratory System Anatomy:

Basically, can be divided into two groups, there are the top breath line and also the

below breath line.

Cavum nasal : is the nose hole, which is covered by the liquid and have a lot of

blood vessels, which are function to relate the outside air temperature, which will

be come into the lung as the temperature of the body. Beside that the air, which

come in to the cavum nasal will be separated by the hairy vestibule.

Farinx : is the muscled pipe, which walking from the bone bottom until the

connection with the esophagus on the cricoids bone height. So the place is on

beside the naso-pharynx, beside the oro-pharynx and behind larynx.

Larinx ; is consist of the easy bones clips, which move from the pharynx until the

height of vertebra clericalism ad come in into the below trachea.
