HOBBIES BRINGS HAPPINESS

Hello Everyone

I like to ask you a favour – Please close your eyes for a couple of
seconds and thing about that joyful moment when you were a child and
get it into your mindset. Now when you have that memory in your
mind, wasn’t it just awesome pure happiness and most importantly
innocence.

There are many people who have their hobbies from their childhood
days, but it gets lost somewhere because of their busy schedule. I
personally think as a person that the people around the world should
live the child within themselves and follow their hobbies as an
extracurricular activity or as a career.

Science says that a child’s brain has the same capability to think as an
adult: decision making, judging, feelings or anything that triggers an
action, the only difference it is a child doesn’t worries about what other
people are going to think. As the saying goes by Pablo Picasso, “Every
child is an artist. The problem is how to remain an artist when you grow
up”

Imagine if you were in a situation that a poisonous spiders comes down

and bites you and you have been away to the hospital and you’re sitting
in your waiting room and the doctor says you’re about to die. On your
deathbed do you hold any regrets? You wished for

1. Courage to live a life that was true to me

2. Courage to express my feelings
3. Courage to allow myself to be happy
To make you more understand you about the topic – Have you ever
seen the movie 3 idiots. In this movie there is a movie character named
Farhan Qureshi. He had been forced by his father to take up
engineering over his dream job (Wildlife Photographer). This shows us a
perfect example of not being happy with life, if you don’t get what you
want to do.

It is important to focus on what you love to do. There are many

inspirational stories of people who are following this concept “Follow
Your Passion”. I went through searching to find out more about these
inspirational people. I fell in love with the Beyonce – Girls run the world
(Youtube Channel). Let me tell you they are phenomenal.

Today I am proud of the world where we live in because it has started

creating an awareness to pursue your passions in the form of talent
shows like India’s Got Talent, The Voice, Dance + and many more. I
would like to conclude my topic by saying, “One of the greatest ways to
triumph over wanting to eat constantly is to teach yourself how to
focus on something else -- something you enjoy doing. In other words,
get a hobby!”
