To Whom It May Concern:

It is my great pleasure to recommend Yadira Chavez in her desire to pursue higher education. I have known
Yadira since August of 2019 and have had the privilege of having her in my Anatomy and Physiology class.
Yadira consistently excels in all tasks and assignments in class. She has demonstrated to have a great work
ethic allowing her to succeed in all of her academic and personal goals.

Yadira is a hardworking student who aspires to be an Emergency Room Registered Nurse. Each day she is
motivated and committed to achieving her goals, having an impressive GPA of 4.00. Yadira is not only
dedicated to her academics, but is also highly involved in her community. Yadira has an extraordinary
willingness to help others and be a leader. Throughout her high school years she has been highly involved in
various clubs and organizations. The Academic Leadership Club has allowed her to be a mentor for
underclassmen students who struggle in their academics. In Child Development Club she has participated in a
clothing drive and has worked closely with children in community service events. She even served as the
Historian of the club her Junior year of High School. She was also part of the Antioch Unified School District
Student Advisory Committee representing all of her fellow peers in meetings to make improvements and
advancements in the district.

In her high school career she is ensuring she is prepared to enter the medical field by taking rigorous science
courses such as Medical Technology and Anatomy and Physiology. Moreover, Yadira has volunteered at
Mercy Hospital in Merced, CA assisting with restocking, providing aid in triage, performing vital signs, and
assisting doctors and nurses.

Yadira highly prioritizes her academics as she has made the Honor Roll all of her years in high school.
Nothing is unattainable for Yadira as she has also been involved in Girl’s Wrestling, making her a well
rounded student who manages her time exceptionally well.

Yadira always comes into my class with a positive attitude ready to learn and work hard. She is intuitive,
respectful, compassionate, kind, and always willing to lend a helping hand to her peers. I am confident that
with your generous contribution to her education she will not let you down. She will represent her family,
school, and community with the utmost honor. Without a doubt, I highly recommend Yadira for any endeavor
she chooses to pursue in her life as she possesses defined skills to succeed.

If you have any questions please do contact me at mclopez@muhsd.org and I would be happy to discuss her
character or past academic work. Thank you.

Sincerely,

Michelle Lopez
