I am writing this letter on behalf of a student I have had the privilege of having in my art
class for two wonderful years at El Capitan High School. Maliyah has proven to be a
young woman of remarkable talents. Maliyah always goes to great lengths to produce
very successful art projects in my classroom. She has become such a staple for the
classroom with her diligent work ethic.

During the course of Maliyah four years at El Capitan, she had shown her time
management skills, maturity, and most importantly her hard work ethic. She has
produced a remarkable amount of very creative and thought-provoking art pieces in El
Capitan’s art two program. Maliyah has also has been very diligent, dependable and
trustworthy in her everyday endeavors. She will continue to do things around the
classroom without being asked to.

Maliyah has learned and nurtured the true value of higher education through her
experiences. She has demonstrated not only hard work in the classroom but the
compassion and commitment that is necessary for the pursuit of a dream for a
successful future.

I believe her experiences further heightened an already rising young woman. So it is
