Description of Artifact (*The personal artifact may be anything that demonstrates growth, skills, interests, discoveries, and/or abilities
from your experience this last year -- can be school-related or not.)

My eighth grade year at Washington I received the eagle award meeting special
requirements the teachers decided on.

Why did you choose this as one of your artifacts?

I chose this artifact to show how proud I am of myself for standing out in school according to my
teachers.

How did your experience with this artifact change or impact you?
This artifact proved to me that I was succeeding academically and personally, I knew this would
only make me work harder.

Did you see growth in your targeted soft skills through the course of working on this artifact?
Explain.
Yes, once I first heard about this award I knew I wanted to accomplish this and receive this
before I left onto high school. My soft skills grew with the exception of trying harder and
pushing myself in all challenges I faced.
